The Newborn Experience

My goal when hired as your photographer, is not only to create memories that you will love and cherish for a lifetime, but to also create an experience that is enjoyable and virtually effortless for you, from start to finish. I am here to walk you through every step!

Step 1: Reach out to me. Let's make sure we are a great fit for one another and that I have the availability!
Step 2: Reserve your session by paying your session fee up front. This ensures that your newborn session takes place within 2 weeks of giving birth.
Step 3: Book your styling consultation. We will discuss ideas, nursery colors, hobbies, specific posing, etc. that you may want to incorporate into your session. This will allow me to make any necessary arrangements, prop purchases, etc. in advance, as well as style your session based on your personal preference.
Step 4: Let me know once you've given birth and we will book a firm date for your newborn session (Newborn sessions take place Monday-Friday).
Step 5: I will send you detailed instructions for the day of your session to help you feel completely prepared.
Step 6: Session day! I always allow for 4 hours of shoot time for your session. Typically sessions only take between 2-3 hours, however I always allow 4 hours for those rare occasions that baby needs a bit more time to eat or snuggle. I never want baby, parents or photographer to feel rushed through this process. There are snacks, coffee, tea, recliners and a television available during your session. There's also a small play area available for siblings. Feel free to relax or even take a nap while in the studio.
Step 7: Session reveal! 1-2 weeks after your session, your images will be available to view. You have the option of viewing online or viewing at the studio. I can help you with this part as little or as much as you'd like.
Step 8: Ordering and delivery. Within 1 week, you will receive your final order, or your final order will be available for pickup on larger items, such as wall portraits.

Because I like to keep my editing times short for my clients, I do limit the amount of sessions I take per month. Typically parents book with me prior to their third trimester. Also, please note that the session fee only covers my time to photograph and edit the session. Be sure to view the "investment" section to view product pricing.

All newborn sessions take place at my studio in Chandler, Oklahoma.

The six month experience

Step 1: Reach out to me. Let's make sure we are a great fit for one another and that I have the availability.
Step 2: Reserve your session date and time by paying your session fee up front.
Step 3: Book your styling consultation. We will discuss ideas and the look and style you're going for.
Step 4: Session day! I always allow for 1 hour of shoot time for your session. Typically at this age, the session does not last longer than 30-40 minutes, however I always allow 1 hour so that we never feel rushed and can take breaks if necessary.
Step 5: Session reveal! 1-2 weeks after your session, your images will be available to view. You have the option of viewing online or viewing at the studio. I can help you with this part as little or as much as you'd like.
Step 6: Ordering and delivery. Within 1 week, you will receive your final order, or your final order will be available for pickup on larger items, such as wall portraits.

While this session is labeled a "six month session", I really like to call it a "sitter session". While some babies are sitting up at six months, some are not. I believe that even if baby is technically 7 or 8 months, it is best to wait until they are able to sit up on their own for this session. This creates a lot more options for posing and props, and baby generally has a bit more "stamina" once sitting up as well.

These sessions may be held in my studio, outdoors or a combination of the two. I have many different outdoor spaces that I like to use, from greenery to urban. Sessions take place in or around my studio in Chandler, Oklahoma. Family and siblings are welcome.

Please note that due to the limited attention span at this age, I do offer this particular session in a mini session form. Just ask me fore details!

The one year Experience

Step 3: Book your styling consultation. We will discuss ideas and the look and style you're going for. If you're wanting a cake smash portion or not, etc. I LOVE setting up themed sets for this type of session!
Step 4: Session day! I always allow for 1 1/2 hours of shoot time for your session. Typically at this age, the session does not last longer than one hour, however I always allow more time so that we never feel rushed, can take breaks if necessary and have time to clean baby up if you've opted for a cake smash portion.
Step 5: Session reveal! 1-2 weeks after your session, your images will be available to view. You have the option of viewing online or viewing at the studio. I can help you with this part as little or as much as you'd like.

The grow with me plan

This plan is for those that know in advance that they would like a newborn, 6 month and one year session for their baby. There are perks to being part of a Grow With Me Plan:

You save a total of $145 in session fees. Purchasing the sessions individually would be $445. The Grow With Me Plan is priced at $300.
You may add a 3 month and 9 month session at a "mini session rate". This is $175 and comes with 10 digital images.
You receive 10% off of all session product purchases.
You receive a custom 8x10 collage of your favorites from each session at the end of your plan.

The family Experience

Step 4: Session day! I always allow for 2 hours of shoot time for your session. It is rare that we max out the time, but sometimes kiddos need some extra time to settle in or take a snack break.
Step 5: Session reveal! 1-2 weeks after your session, your images will be available to view. You have the option of viewing online or viewing at the studio. I can help you with this part as little or as much as you'd like.
Step 6: Ordering and delivery. Within 1 week, you will receive your final order, or your final order will be available for pickup on larger items, such as wall portraits.

These sessions are best done outdoors for more flexibility and room to move around. I have many different outdoor spaces that I like to use, from greenery to urban. Sessions take place in or around my studio in Chandler, Oklahoma, unless we have agreed upon a different location in advance.

When it comes to photographing younger kids, I LOVE doing family portraits because I truly believe that these sessions should be light and fun and treated more like a play date, than a formal session. As a result, I believe that I am able to catch real expressions and smiles from my little clients!

The senior Experience

When choosing me to photograph your senior, my goal is to make them as comfortable as possible with me and in front of the camera.

Long in advance, we will discuss what type of look and feel they are going for, possible locations where we can shoot, clothing options and anything else that you may want to incorporate into their session. I am here to guide you every step of the way.

Sessions may be taken outside, in studio or both. My studio is located in downtown Chandler so we have a downtown look with cool buildings and textures, right at our fingertips.
